Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you offer samples?
Yes — we provide sample packs so you can see the glaze, color, and texture in real life before placing a larger order.
-
How do I request a sample?
Add the tile styles you want to your cart, then go to the Request a Quote page and submit your details. One of our agents will contact you to confirm and arrange shipping.
-
How long do samples take to arrive?
Samples ship from Morocco. Delivery typically takes 12–14 business days, depending on your location.
-
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship samples worldwide so designers, architects, and homeowners can experience authentic Moroccan Zellige first-hand.
-
Are samples free?
Samples include a small fee to cover materials and handling. This amount is credited back when you place a full order.
-
Can I return a sample?
Samples are non-returnable, but they’re designed to help you choose confidently before committing to a larger project.
-
Will the sample match the final product exactly?
Handmade Zellige may vary slightly between batches. Samples represent the intended look, but minor differences in color and finish can occur.
-
Should I order multiple shades?
We recommend ordering a few tones (slightly lighter/darker) to compare in your lighting at different times of day.
-
Can I use Zellige tiles for a kitchen backsplash?
Absolutely. Kitchen zellige tiles are incredibly popular. Their glossy finish makes them easy to wipe down, and their organic texture adds warmth to modern kitchens. Green zellige tile kitchen backsplashes and white zellige tile designs are currently among our most requested styles.
-
Are Zellige tiles suitable for wet areas like bathrooms and showers?
Yes. A zellige tile bathroom is beautiful and functional. When properly installed and sealed, zellige tiles are perfect for shower walls and wet rooms. Many clients opt for a green zellige bathroom or a calming blue zellige design to create a spa-like atmosphere.
-
Can Zellige be used on floors?
Yes, but with considerations. For flooring, we recommend thicker, specific cuts like Bejmat. Traditional glazed wall zellige can be used in low-traffic barefoot areas, but specialized زليج الارض مغربي (Moroccan floor zellige) is best for standard foot traffic.
