Overview

At Morocco Zellige Samples, all orders are shipped from our facility in Tetouan, Morocco.
Our shipments are primarily handled via Full Container Loads (FCLs) for bulk orders, ensuring secure transit and minimized handling. We work with trusted freight forwarders and carriers to ensure safe delivery of our handcrafted Zellige tile samples.

Shipping Methods & Order Types

Samples – Shipped in protective packaging via courier or freight, depending on order size and destination.

Bulk Orders (FCL)

20 ft container: up to 10 pallets of Zellige (780 boxes) or 20 pallets of cement tiles (1,200 boxes).

40 ft container: up to 18 pallets of Zellige (1,404 boxes, weight-limited) or 22 pallets of cement tiles (1,320 boxes, weight-limited).

Each box is packaged to protect the tiles during international transit.

Processing Time

Orders are processed and packed within 5–10 business days for standard sample orders.

FCL orders are processed based on production schedules; lead times will be confirmed at the time of order.

Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times vary by destination and shipping method.

FCL shipments typically take 3–6 weeks depending on port schedules, customs clearance, and final delivery location.

Sample orders via courier may take 7–14 business days after dispatch.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, volume, destination, and shipping method.

For FCL shipments, freight charges will be quoted separately and must be approved before dispatch.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and import fees in the destination country.

Risk & Liability

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the shipment is handed over to the carrier.

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs, port congestion, strikes, or other events outside our control.

Insurance is optional but strongly recommended for bulk orders; we can arrange coverage upon request.

Damages & Claims

All shipments are inspected before leaving our facility.

If damage occurs in transit, you must:

Notify support@morocco-zellige.com within 48 hours of delivery.

Provide photos of the damaged items and packaging.

Retain all packaging materials until the claim is resolved.

Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
